Text Box: Southlake Community Band is a concert band of more than seventy talented adult amateur musicians who enjoy playing music just for fun. The band performs regularly in the North Texas area cities Of Southlake, Grapevine, Keller, Colleyville and surrounding communities. Our concert programs range from classic band to Broadway, rousing Sousa marches to familiar children's music. The band is directed by Mr. David Stone, and is pictured above at one of our formal indoor concerts. New members are welcome! Even if you haven’t played in some time, dust off your horn and come join us. No formal auditions are required. Click on the links above to find out more about joining our group. Southlake Swing Band is formed primarily from musicians in the concert band. Under the direction of Paul Elder, the Southlake Swing Band plays the 'Big Band' sound of the swing era as well as modern and popular Jazz styles. The Swing Band plays for community events as well as for private functions. To see a photo, click the link above. Southlake Community Choir has over fifty members and performs several times each year along with the Southlake Community Band.
